This is only the second time my husband and I have been there and there were a few missteps. I made a reservation and got seated in the bar section. I asked our waiter as we were leaving what I needed to do to be seated in the dining room. He said "make a reservation" with a teeny smirk. I said I did and he said oops, a mistake. We got the sweet potato(which was good) instead of crispy potatoes, so by the time the crispy potato came out we were almost done eating. The small scallops were just seconds away from under cooked. And in spite of these missteps we had a good time. The waiter was young and well trained, even with the smirk and snarky comments about us enjoying the "free" sweet potato dish. Next time I will know the ropes better...

After years of driving past Mill Valley I finally stopped in for brunch! First off the space is beautiful. It is located on the main level of an apartment complex with a decent amount of parking available. The decor kind of looks like a hotel restaurant so it's very modern with bright, neutral colors and nice fixtures. It's actually a very large space with a decent size bar area, dining area, and private dining area but has a cozy feel. Perhaps my favorite thing was BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!!! This is the way brunch should be! For my meal I got a kimchi breakfast bowl. It was good but didn't really wow me. The flavors were good but didn't have the punch I expected. My partner got the Benedict and that was delicious. Our bartender was absolutely fantastic. We ended up hanging out, drinking mimosas all the way up until brunch was over and she was done with her shift. Super friendly. The relief bartender was equally as awesome and we ended up hanging out and splitting a burger and some wings The burger was just okay. Honestly not good enough to get again. Overall the food was decent but will have me coming back to explore more of the menu. Based on food alone this would be a 3 star but because of the exceptional service it's a 4. @danny_runsforbeer

First visit to Mill Valley Kitchen. Really enjoyed the pizza and wings. Went there for appetizers and were not disappointed. The crust for the pizza was perfect and the variety of toppings was great. My friend had a pizza with nothing but vegetables, but still flavorable. My wings were great, tender, flavorful, and left me wanting more. The dessert selection was also good. The wait staff was friendly, made suggestions, and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was great in that the noise level was not too loud, the other guests enjoying themselves and beautifully decorated. A recent appearance on the WCCO Morning Program is what piqued my interest; I'm glad I followed through and checked them out. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Liz was great! My best friend and I came in for a late lunch and it was delicious. Healthy good food and delicious drinks. We live close by and this is definitely one of our favorite places! Will be back.

We reserved the private room for a family celebration and had excellent service from Edith! Thank you Mill Valley for a great experience. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks.

The food was so fresh tasting and flavorful! Restaurant itself is very nice looking, staff was friendly, and server was good. Great options and will definitely make a return. - Anthony

We went for the late night happy hour from 9-10 and got the mussels, sliders, and wings with some drinks for a great price! Definitely coming back here, great food and drinks

really cute spot! my friend put me on, and i loveeeee the shrimp tacos. i’ve also had the orange crème brûlée - which was so creamy and good but i found the sugar part a bit bitter - and the spring rolls, which came with a delicious peanut sauce. i would definitely come here again!
